Emerging Athlete Scholarship Recipient: Ben Richards

Mackersy Property is proud to support Ben Richards as the 2020 recipient of our Mackersy Property Emerging Athlete Scholarship. Ben is a 20 year old Wanaka local who is currently representing New Zealand in the Northern Hemisphere. Ben has skied all his life and is a former elite level ski racer turned freeride skier. He achieved success in the 2020/21 season by winning and placing in the World Tour Qualifying events. Ben will return to New Zealand shortly and will be working as a freeride coach at Treble Cone. He will also continue his own training with the aim to head back to the Northern Hemisphere for the next winter season.
