Facilities Manager - Christchurch

We are now looking to appoint a Facilities Manager to join our Christchurch team.
The RoleThis is a hands-on varied role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial properties.
You will ensure assets are well maintained, compliant and operating effectively, while delivering a high standard of service to tenants and stakeholders. The role requires a balance of operational delivery, relationship management and sound judgement in prioritising competing demands.
A key part of the role is building and maintaining strong working relationships. You will work closely with tenants, contractors and internal teams and will be expected to communicate clearly, follow through on commitments and take ownership. You will also proactively identify and resolve issues through practical well-considered solutions, while continually looking for smarter and more effective ways of working.
You will ideally bring around 3–5 years’ experience in facilities management and be confident managing a diverse and active workload.
Just as important as your technical experience is your professional approach. You are a clear and considered communicator who builds credibility through consistency, responsiveness and follow-through.
You approach your work with integrity, take a practical and solutions-focused view and are able to navigate challenges without unnecessarily complicating them. You are organised, dependable and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.
You will also enjoy working as part of a team. You are collaborative by nature, willing to contribute and value being in an environment where people support each other to achieve strong outcomes.
You understand the importance of stewardship, taking care of the assets, relationships and responsibilities entrusted to you, and you are motivated to continue building your capability within Facilities Management.
