Hamish leads Mackersy Property with a focus on strategy, performance, people and purpose. As CEO, he is responsible for guiding the business through its next stage of growth while ensuring Mackersy continues to deliver enduring value for investors, tenants, partners and communities.

Adam heads the property investment activities of Mackersy Property and is primarily focused on acquiring and syndicating commercial property. His role includes overseeing the initial acquisition process, the legal due diligence process and negotiating attractive finance and lease terms. 

Adam is a former Director of Mackersy Legal and a current Director of a number of private companies. He also provides expert advice and guidance to the management team.

Adam has significant knowledge of resource management, property law, finance and development projects, along with experience advising a wide range of clients and entities. He holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science degrees, as well as a Masters in International Business and Law.

The Mackersy Property Team are delighted to welcome Clive Mackenzie to its Board of Directors.

As Chief Executive Officer of Kiwi Property, Clive is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and management of the company. He has been involved with property and finance for over 20 years and joined Kiwi Property as CEO in July 2018. Clive was previously Senior Vice President – Development, East Coast for Westfield USA, where he was involved in the creation and implementation of transformational strategies to evolve, strengthen and develop the company’s real estate portfolio.

The Mackersy Property Team are delighted to welcome Shaun Reed to its Board of Directors.

As GM Capital Transactions at Kiwi Property, Shaun leads the capital transactions function, driving strategic capital initiatives, including portfolio transactions, joint ventures, and partnerships that support their mixed-use strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment and fund management and, prior to joining Kiwi Property, held senior leadership roles at LaSalle Investment Management, as well as investment and valuation positions at AMP Capital and CBRE.

Omea leads Mackersy Property’s Investor Relations and Operations functions, overseeing investor communications, investment administration, divestments, and operational performance. She combines her expertise in compliance, risk management, IT systems, and process improvement to ensure the business runs efficiently and to the highest standards.

Renowned for her superior relationship-building with new and existing investors, Omea keeps investors’ needs front of mind while presenting new commercial property opportunities. With extensive experience in commercial property investor relations and over 20 years in a dynamic legal environment, she brings strong governance and strategic insight.

Omea holds a BSc and MBA from Otago University, has completed the NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), and serves as an independent director on several Mackersy Property investments, as well as trustee for a not-for-profit organisation.

Aaron brings over five years of experience with Mackersy Property, where he previously led the Asset Management team and now contributes as part of the Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance and expertise.

Before joining Mackersy Property, Aaron built a strong foundation in commercial asset management and investment banking, developing deep skills in strategy, finance, and relationship building. His governance experience includes serving on multiple boards and advisory roles, reflecting a commitment to sound leadership and sustainable growth.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Management Studies, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and has previously been an Accredited Advisor on the NZX and ASX.

Mick provides expert financial modelling, debt structuring and treasury advice to Mackersy Property. His role forms a crucial part of the company’s property syndication business, including robust financial analysis of the tenants which occupy properties being considered for syndication. He also negotiates attractive funding packages for new and existing commercial property syndicates.

Mick brings ten years’ experience in the finance industry to Mackersy Property. His career encompasses commercial banking, private wealth, foreign exchange and international finance.

Hannes brings over a decade of experience in commercial property, both internationally and in New Zealand. Since joining Mackersy Property in 2022, he has progressed from Asset Manager to leading the Asset Management team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial properties.

In his role, Hannes drives portfolio performance, tenant satisfaction, and long-term value creation, while fostering a collaborative team culture. He is skilled in strategic planning, complex lease negotiations, financial governance, and risk management, ensuring Mackersy Property delivers sustainable growth and strong investor outcomes.

Anna joined Mackersy Property’s Christchurch office as an Executive Assistant responsible for Special Projects. Her talents with people have seen her grow to be Mackersy Property’s People and Culture Manager.

Anna provides operational support and advice to Mackersy Property’s various teams in employee relations, resourcing, compliance and employee development.

With offices in five separate locations, Anna’s management of Mackersy Property’s recruitment and HR functions ensures the teams are appropriately supported, a robust candidate selection process is in place, and all new team members enjoy a smooth induction into the business.

Anna’s commitment to learning and development sees her leading the company’s employee performance management programme to ensure the teams focus on continuous improvement, professional development plans and the achievement of set goals – their own, and Mackersy Property’s.

Anna has an extensive background in human resources, health and safety, business management and operations.

As consultant to Mackersy Property, Ron is closely involved with the property syndication business, including assisting with the identification and evaluation of new investment opportunities, negotiating acquisitions and mentoring team members.

Ron founded Mitchell Mackersy Lawyers’ commercial property syndication business in the mid-1990s, which continues today under Mackersy Property. Before that, he forged a successful career as in the legal and business arenas spanning several decades. 

He is highly regarded as an astute legal and business professional and a trusted advisor to his loyal client base, as well as to many of his staff and personal contacts.

Milly is Executive Assistant to Adam Copland, Director of Investment and Transactions. She is a qualified Legal Executive with a background in trust accounting, lease renewal & variation documents, Anti-Money Laundering, Sale and Purchase agreements and a multitude of legal processes and procedures.

Milly holds a Legal Executive Diploma and is a committee volunteer, member and participant of various sporting and recreation facilities around the Queenstown region.

Jenna balances her role leading the Investor Relations team with supporting Omea Willows, Director of Investor Relations & Operations. 

She brings a wealth of knowledge in processes and systems, having an integral role in continuous improvement across all aspects of the investment operations business.

Jenna is also involved in a number of internal special projects, bringing her attention to detail and efficiency to the table. She is an integral part of the business and brings a fresh methodical approach to the team, having joined after working as an Executive Assistant with Spark in Auckland.

Marianne ensures the delivery of information to investors is accurate and timely, including communication during the application process, ensuring compliance and eligibility requirements are met in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act and the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act.

Marianne is diligent, efficient and effective as a key conduit with investors, and she is integral to Mackersy Property’s investor relations team.

As Brand & Marketing Associate, Danielle is based in Mackersy Property's Tauranga office. 

With experience in similar roles over the course of her career, Danielle loves the challenge that comes from creating, researching and developing marketing material. 

With a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism, Danielle has the established skills and expertise to produce quality brand & marketing material across all business areas.

Self-motivated with an enthusiasm for continuous improvement, Jessica contributes her talents to Mackersy Property's investor relations department in Tauranga. 

With an extensive background spanning over five years across both the dental and construction sectors, Jessica's exceptional organisational abilities and adept communication skills uniquely position her to offer essential administrative support to our busy investor relations team.

With over a decade in diverse experience, Amy has excelled in project management, production coordination, and office management. From managing housing projects to coordinating production, Amy has demonstrated exceptional skills in planning, scheduling, and liaising with various stakeholders. With broad experience across numerous software applications, Amy’s passion for helping and assisting others, combined with her commitment to high standards, enables her to handle complex tasks with a considered approach.

Michael joined Mackersy Property in 2022 when the company purchased Hamilton property company GBG Management Ltd.

Michael has over 25 years of experience in Asset and Facilities Management. 

He prides himself on building good tenant and contractor relationships to ensure assets are maintained and managed to a high standard.

Matt is a senior property professional with broad experience managing large, complex commercial portfolios across New Zealand. With a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance, Matt brings strong analytical capability alongside practical, solutions focused asset management.

Matt has led property, asset and lease management for high-profile occupiers including ASB Bank, The Warehouse Group, Z Energy and multiple licensing trusts. His expertise spans network optimisation, complex lease negotiations, stakeholder management and portfolio reporting, with a strong focus on medium, to long-term asset performance.

Matt is known for his commercial insight, attention to detail and collaborative approach, delivering efficient, future-focused property outcomes for clients.

Lisa joined the Mackersy Property team in 2019 and manages a busy and varied portfolio primarily focused on retail investments, complemented by mixed-use assets such as office and industrial properties. Her core retail portfolio spans New Zealand, from Invercargill to Dargaville, and includes large retail complexes that host leading national and international brands such as The Warehouse, Woolworths , Mitre 10, Bunnings, and Kmart.

In addition to these major investments, Lisa also oversees a range of privately owned retail and commercial properties in the Queenstown region.

With 17 years of prior experience as a Buyer for a major department store group, Lisa brings extensive retail expertise and strong commercial insight to her role. She is highly regarded for building strong tenant and landlord relationships and takes a client-focused approach to deliver the best outcomes for all parties. An avid learner, Lisa ensures she remains current with the ever-evolving changes in both the retail and wider property industries. Her attention to detail and deep sector knowledge enables her to consistently deliver exceptional results in lease management.

Ryan joined Mackersy Property in 2021 after more than 15 years in the property industry, bringing a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines. His broad background underpins a practical approach, strong commercial insight, and well-developed business acumen.

An astute professional, Ryan manages a diverse portfolio, including several complex industrial assets. He works closely with the asset management team to deliver strategic outcomes, leveraging his experience in lease structuring and tenant negotiations to achieve optimal results for both landlords and tenants. Known for his attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and ability to build strong connections, Ryan consistently adds value through sound property advice and effective solutions.

With multiple years of experience in commercial property management across New Zealand and Australia, Saskia is skilled across all aspects of Property Management. Managing a broad range of national and international tenants from all asset classes, including retail, industrial and office, Saskia’s superior communication and negotiation skills ensures favourable outcomes for both tenants and landlords.

Saskia holds a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland.

Hayley joined Mackersy Property’s Property Management team following a successful tenure in shopping centre marketing and asset management. She brings a strong commercial focus and a commitment to continued growth, excelling in financial analysis and delivering exceptional outcomes through well-developed tenant and landlord relationships.

An adept and quick learner, Hayley embraces change with ease and approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-driven mindset. She works collaboratively to understand the complexities of key issues and resolve them effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Personable and highly professional, Hayley is known for her ability to quickly build trust and form strong working relationships with stakeholders. Her combination of diligence, commercial acumen, and client-focused approach ensures she consistently adds value to the team and the properties under her management.

As Facilities Management Team Leader, Alisa heads the team coordinating the strategic and operational management of the assets in the Mackersy Property portfolio.  

Alisa brings a strong background in facilities management to her role, including seven years as an in-house facilities coordinator for Vodafone NZ Ltd. Prior to that, she spent six years with TelstraClear as a property services specialist.

Taking pride in delivering a proactive, best-in-class support model, Alisa enjoys helping people to get the best out of their working environment. She also has well-developed skills and experience in RFP processes, stakeholder engagement and project management.

Jordyn is responsible for the facilities management of the Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Auckland and Hastings assets, focusing on preventative maintenance, compliance and reactive maintenance while building strong relationships with tenants.

Jordyn brings experience to the Mackersy Property after working in commercial property management for a nationwide retail group in Melbourne. She holds a Bachelor of Communication degree and a Diploma in Project Management.

Harry recently completed a Bachelor of Land and Property Manager at Lincoln University and joined Mackersy as an intern at the end of 2022. 

As a Facilities Manager and a committed team player with an analytical mindset, Harry is responsible for managing preventative maintenance on the company’s property management portfolio. His role involves building and maintaining key relationships with tenants, contractors and suppliers; liaising with all parties to address the day-to-day issues that can arise in a large commercial property portfolio

Skilled in communication, stakeholder liaison, budgeting and planning, Alena previously worked at Skyline Properties, overseeing the repairs and maintenance in a varied portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Queenstown region. 

As the primary contact for tenants and contractors, Alena developed a solid understanding of the unique challenges faced in the Queenstown commercial property sector. 

Alena holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and her diverse background across various commercial property roles across Australia and New Zealand have honed her abilities in organisation, problem solving and multitasking.

Greta is a dedicated Facilities Manager with a wealth of experience in facility operations, stakeholder coordination and health, safety and compliance. She joined the company in 2025 after a successful tenure running a commercial property portfolio in Wellington. 

Known for her problem solving skills, and team collaboration, Greta ensures smooth operations and timely resolution of issues. Her background spans the film industry, government and property management, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to excellence. 

Greta is passionate about continuous learning and is eager to further develop her skills in the property sector managing the facilities of Mackersy Property’s Hamilton assets. 

Drawing upon a wealth of administration, coordination, and accounting expertise developed through diverse roles within the building and construction sector, Patrice contributes significantly to our facilities management division. 

Her diligent work ethic, optimistic demeanour, and commitment to continuous learning have proven invaluable, enhancing our team's ability to deliver exceptional service to contractors and tenants alike. 

Capably handling extensive administrative duties and bolstering broader property operations, Patrice plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.

With extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor and heading Mackersy Property's Facilities Management team, Gwynn's role has evolved to take a strategic view of the management of Mackersy Property's assets. In addition, he takes a lead role in the fund-through construction projects that Mackersy Property undertakes. 

Gwynn’s role, supported by Mackersy Property’s growing national facilities management team, gives the company close oversight of maintenance and compliance requirements across the portfolio. This is crucial in order to ensure all assets are operating as efficiently as possible for their investor owners, as well as ensuring they remain compliant with all regulations. Gwynn and his team’s work manage the financial impact to owners by closely monitoring preventative maintenance and capital upgrades to properties.

Gwynn is a Building Surveyor, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor who previously worked with Mackersy Property for over three years as an independent contractor. He brings a highly technical background in facilities management to the role.

Nick is Mackersy Property’s Chief Financial Officer. He oversees the activity of the nationwide finance team and maintains key relationships with banks and other professional services providers.

Prior to joining Mackersy Property, Nick worked for a New Zealand-based multi-national construction and development company, where he held a senior role in the corporate finance team. He has extensive experience in property asset management, financial management and accounting within the commercial property investment sector in the United Kingdom. 

Nick brings strong analytical and communication skills and commercial acumen to Mackersy Property.

As part of the Mackersy Property finance team, Casey oversees the day-to-day accounting functions of a portfolio of syndicates and privately managed properties as well as assisting with the accounting function for Mackersy Property. Her role assists the Chief Financial Officer and Property Managers.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a registered Chartered Accountant, bringing external auditing knowledge and experience to her role.

Chartered Accountant Hannah Butt brings over ten years’ of experience in finance and accounting to her role of Property & Asset Management Accountant. 

With a broad background in auditing, property management, syndication and commercial property accounting, Hannah has worked in Australia and New Zealand before settling in Queenstown. 

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Property from The University of Auckland.

Tracy is based in Mackersy Property's Christchurch office as a Systems Accountant within the Finance Team.

With over 25 years in finance, accounting and system implementations, Tracy prides herself in working collaboratively with team members and clients to seek continual improvement of systems and processes.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws, and is a registered Chartered Accountant. Before joining Mackersy Property, she held a senior finance role in a large NZ healthcare provider and managed a property development company.

Highly motivated and proactive, Jo has considerable experience in Property Administration, Change Management, Sales and Accounts. 

Jo's skill and expertise make her valuable asset to Mackersy Property's Hamilton office and wider team. 

Managing the accounting and property administration for Mackersy Property’s North Island portfolio, Jo meets all tasks logically and pragmatically. Her proficiency in change management has been a huge advantage, ensuring a seamless transition of processes and systems.

With a passion for accounts administration and over six years experience in accounts payable, Tara’s organised and detailed approach ensures the accurate management of Mackersy Property’s monthly invoice processing. 

Continually seeking ways to improve processes and thinking outside the box, Tara’s effective communication and innovative outlook supports the finance team and wider company to meet monthly accounting deadlines.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Certificate in Accounts Administration and Payroll.

Ely transitioned to Mackersy Property through a maternity leave contract, leveraging over a decade of expertise in management accounting. 

With a rich background in serving commercial property owners and investors, Ely seamlessly integrated into Mackersy Property’s finance department, collaborating closely with our team of accounting specialists. 

Proficient in liaising with asset, property and facilities managers, she diligently oversees the operational facets of our portfolio’s financial activities.

With a background in Financial Services, Recruitment and Human Resources, Annemarie’s highly organised approach with an eye for detail, ensures Mackersy Property’s treasury functions are well supported. 

Skilled in relationship management, Annemarie has worked in various roles in the property, investment, and recruitment industries across New Zealand and Europe. 

She works in our Queenstown office within the Finance and Treasury Team supporting and assisting the syndicated property investment functions to ensure our companies remain financially fit and operationally profitable.

As a proud and committed member of the Queenstown Lakes community, Amy has worked hard to achieve great outcomes for the community through a variety of private and public sector organisations.

Amy has significant experience in engaging with a wide variety of community groups, businesses, government officials and volunteer organisations. Along with her professionalism and integrity, Amy understands the importance of collaboration and transparent communication, which makes her well-suited to support Mackersy Property’s CEO Hamish Wilton.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and a Legal Executive Diploma, and serves on a number of community and regional organisations, committees and clubs.
