The Opportunity

Reporting to the Property Management Team Leader, we are seeking an experienced property manager with a proven track record of excellence.

We are looking for a commercial property expert that is skilled in the management of large, multifaceted portfolios. With your superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for managing a number of commercial buildings in varying sectors on behalf of our tenants and investors.

Responsibilities include

  • Tenant relations including lease interpretation, lease negotiations, renewals, dispute resolution and general relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Managers to ensure assets are well maintained.
  • Preparation, management and reconciliation of budgets and financial reports for properties alongside the Asset, Facilities and Finance teams.
  • Support the Asset Managers with various value add initiatives to ensure the portfolio is managed in line with goals and objectives.
  • Management and coordination of all aspects relating to client meetings.
  • Utilising Re-leased and Xero software to strategically manage portfolios.
  • Regular reporting on activity and performance.
  • Some travel may be required.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in commercial property management.
  • Bachelor of Property or similar qualification from accredited NZ University preferred.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within tight time frames.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in lease administration and renewal negotiations.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and ability to work well under pressure.
